Read My Interview With The Director Of Diamond’s Latest Video, “Eneka”

Top Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz is back on the airwaves again with his dope music video, “Eneka”. The visuals were directed by my interviewee Sesan Ogunro, a top Nigerian director known for having worked with the likes of Wizkid, Nelly, Snoop Dogg, Runtown, Tiwa Savage, just to name a few.

In the video, Diamond cruises through the desert in a Ferrari, serenades an extremely beautiful girl, dances in a lavish mansion and lives up to the expectations of his fans. He has definitely taken his game a notch higher.

“Diamond Platnumz Is A Lovely Person To Work With”, Says Top Zambian Model Cartier Zagorski

In my interview with Sesan, he opens up about his future goals and how he has managed to be one of the top paid music video directors in Africa.

Sesan also had incredible advice for upcoming artists who want good music videos:

“You can’t have a high concept with small budget. You can’t walk into a Bentley showroom with Toyota money. Your idea should reflect the size of your budget. However, it doesn’t stop you from being mega creative and creating something unique. That can be done for nothing or free in fact!”

He is also the mentor to US based Nigerian director Daps, popularly known for his work on Migos music videos, including “Bad and Boujee.

Sesan took to Instagram to thank Diamond for allowing him to work on the video, which was at 252, 616 views at the time of this publication.

In the song, Diamond compares love with beer, something that sweeps you right off your feet. He tries to convince the lady not to mind what people will say if they get together.
