I always do this: get to connect directly with life changing moment and stories. Like this one, written 5 days ago by a guy who sat side by side with former Apple CEO Steve Jobs, designing the Safari browser, thinking iPhones, iPads etc. He’s the guy who started the Safari and Webkit projects at Apple. These days he’s an aspiring writer and a recovering programmer 🙂
“When I walked into the meeting room I was shaken. Steve looked thin and haggard with an unhealthy color, like someone’s grandfather.
Just as unsettling was his demeanor. He seemed tired and without his usual focus. We all knew Steve was sick. He had told us about the cancer. But until that time I didn’t realize how much it had ravaged him.”
